Welcome to my About Me page. This is where you can learn about my interests and hobbies. I know most people do this in the third person, but that would be really hard and kind of awkward so…

Hi, my name is Diya and this is my blog. I go by the pronouns she/her. My birthday is June 26th, and I’m a student. This is my first blog, and I haven’t done anything like this before so I’m a bit inexperienced. I’m using a guide on how to write a bio right now. I hope you can join me on my journey to become a blogger.

I’m an avid reader and love novels. Considering most of the pictures I’ve put on here are about books though, I’m sure you’ve guessed. I mostly read fantasy books, but every once in a while I’ll venture into other genres. Rick Riordan, Wendy Mass, and Brandon Mull are my favorite authors and I’d recommend a lot of books by them. I’ll probably recommend a lot of books in general because reading is a big part of my life. Check out some of them here: http://diyasandeep.com/?page_id=40

Using that same link, you might also be able to find some of the original stories I’ve written, either by myself or with my friends. And even if they say short story, I doubt they’ll very short. I’m not that kind of writer.

I’m also a huge Swiftie and I’m very fond of her music. I love Selena Gomez as well and I’ll reluctantly admit that I would binge-listen to their albums all day if I could. Sadly, I can only do that during weekends because I have school Monday-Friday. I play piano and I am learning the flute.

I like attempting to do arts and crafts and trying new recipes. I emphasize attempting and trying because they don’t always turn out super well. Once, I tried to make fondant with my best friend and she didn’t have powdered sugar so we used normal sugar that we tried to crush. It turned out much worse than you would assume. It was melted marshmallows with sugar mixed in, dyed an awful shade of purple. And it didn’t even taste good.

There’s a lot more about me to know, but that would be too much for a short intro. I hope you have fun checking out my blog.
